Melissa's next show is planned for February 1 at a great club on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Save the date and go to the shows page for details. Melissa's music took a back seat the past month because she was super busy with holiday festivities, lots of family birthdays and other happy occasions in her life. Look for more frequent shows starting soon, a nice mix of shows with her band and as a solo artist.

Online music magazine, Marked, gave Melissa high marks for her recent show at the Cutting Room in NYC. Writes music critic Auburn Scallon, "The comfort and intensity she exuded while sitting behind a piano on the dimly lit stage were entrancing. ... This White Plains, N.Y., native could hold her own with Norah Jones or Aimee Mann."

Melissa's special album release show for
Far Beyond the Pacific at
The Baggot Inn
was spectacular. A packed house had great fun and heard great music, new songs and old favorites. Melissa sang and played keyboard. She performed with fabulous musicians:
August Eriksmoen on guitar (and producer of
the album)
Darren Lipper on bass
Eric Farber on drums

Far Beyond the Pacific is an amazing accomplishment of songwriting, singing and musicianship. Melissa herself is the inspiration and instigating force. As she herself says she could not have made it what it is without a great group of musicians, photographer, graphic designer and support of her friends.
